Swarovski, I’m already on your desktop site, but you want me to take my phone out, open the QR reader, point it at my monitor and link out on my phone? No. You want me to already be on the phone, open my QR reader and tell my camera to look at my browser…no. OH! You want my friend to pull up the site on their phone so I can use my phone’s QR reader to scan my friends phone. Done. Well shit…either way it takes me to a single-serving website that points me to Facebook or back to your flagship catalog. Who the hell came up with this idea? You could have kept it simple and developed a cross-device maze. At least that would have been fun.
